Work experience
Benchmark Engineering - Engineering Intern

2013 December - 2014 September

I joined Benchmark as a student while finishing my dipoma at SAIT. For my final project, I developed two Excel based reporting softwares using Visual Basic. I managed to exceed all expectations and these programs replaced previous company software application used. These softwares saved the company thousands of dollars annually in licensing fees. A demo is availabe under projects.

As a technologist, I worked immensely with the drilling and completions engineers to create Project Charters, Timelines (Gant Charts), and AFEs (Authorization for Expenditures). I also managed to keep track of labor, equipment, hours, materials and monitored daily drilling parameters. I also filled out and completed Daily Drilling/Completions reports and reported to the client. As a part of my duty, I also collaborated with other engineers to write drilling and completions programs.

As a dynamic teamplayer I maintained a professional behavior inside and outside of the workplace; I also promoted a safe work environment within the office and out in the field.
